Anniversary edition: Hardoy Butterfly Chair ORIGINAL with ottoman

Based on the draft acquired by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA, New York) in 1941, WEINBAUMS produces the anniversary edition of the Hardoy Butterfly Chair with a tobacco-colored cover from fine Argentinean leather and a powder coated frame in elegant black. To mark its anniversary - celebrating Ferrari-Hardoy's pioneering modernist vision to bold contemporary design - the chair is limited to an edition of 80 pieces. Each set is numbered and comes with a comprehensive guide to one of the most admired works of interior design.

WEINBAUMS uses only vegetatively tanned leather from Catalonian producers for covering this special edition. Our ottoman adds charming and timeless elegance to the chair; it creates a comfortable surface and provides both to your feet and body (when used as a stool) grip in every position. The stainless steel frames underline with their robust coating the expressive character of one of the most distinctive style icons of the 20th century.

Care instructions: Leather covers are easy to clean. Dry dirt can be removed by hand or with a small brush; heavy contaminants can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
